Dolcetto Patisserie & Café – Terms & Conditions

1. Satisfaction & Returns Policy

– If you are dissatisfied with your cake, more than half of the remaining cake must be returned within 48 hours of collection.
– The cake must be returned in its original packaging and must have been stored correctly under refrigeration.

– Once the cake has been assessed, a store credit or refund may be offered at our discretion.
– We do not provide refunds or credits for cakes that have been stored incorrectly or consumed in full.

2. Cancellation Policy

– A deposit is non-refundable if the order is cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled pick-up date.
– Cancellations must be made in person or via phone. We do not accept cancellations via email or social media as these channels may not be monitored in time.

– A full refund of your deposit will only be provided if:
– No special items have been purchased for your cake (e.g., edible printed images, custom toppers), and
– We have not commenced making fondant flowers, ornaments, or other custom decorations.
– If an edible image or any other custom item has been prepared specifically for your order, this portion of the deposit is non-refundable.

3. Allergies & Storage Disclaimer

– Dolcetto Patisserie & Café does not offer allergy-free cakes or products.
– Our premises handle a wide range of ingredients including nuts, gluten, flour, soy, dairy, eggs, and other allergens.
– As such, it is impossible to guarantee an allergen-free environment and we cannot accept liability for allergic reactions.
– Customers with severe allergies are advised not to consume our products.

4. Order Changes

– Any changes to your order must be made at least 72 hours before the scheduled pick-up.
– Significant design changes may incur additional charges depending on work

already completed and supplies purchased.

5. Design Variations Disclaimer

– While we strive to match designs as closely as possible, slight variations in colour, size, or decoration may occur due to the handmade nature of our cakes. – These variations are not considered faults and are part of the unique, artisan quality of our products.

6. General Terms

– By placing an order with Dolcetto Patisserie & Café, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
– We reserve the right to update or amend these terms at any time. Any changes will be made available on our website and in-store.
