Overview

At Dolcetto Patisserie, all products are freshly prepared to order using quality ingredients and traditional methods. Due to the perishable nature of our goods, we do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind.

Perishable Products

All of our products are perishable food items. As such:

• We do not accept returns or exchanges on any food products
• We do not offer refunds for change of mind
• Once an order has been collected, it is considered accepted

Cancellations, Changes & Deposits

Due to the time, preparation, and resources involved in producing our cakes and products:

• A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the required date are non-refundable
• Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the scheduled pick-up date
• A full refund of your deposit will only be provided if:
  • No special items have been purchased for your cake (e.g. edible printed images, custom toppers), and
  • We have not commenced making fondant flowers, ornaments, or other custom decorations
• If an edible image or any custom item has been prepared specifically for your order, this portion of the deposit is non-refundable
• Changes to orders must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up
• Changes requested within 48 hours may not be possible
• Significant design changes may incur additional charges depending on work already completed and supplies purchased
• Cancellations must be made in person or via phone. We do not accept cancellations via email or social media

Custom & Pre-Ordered Cakes

• Most cakes require a minimum of 2 days’ notice
• Once your order is confirmed, it is scheduled for production

Order Accuracy, Quality & Satisfaction

We take pride in our products. If there is an issue with your cake and it does not meet expectations, a refund or store credit will only be considered under the following conditions:

• The cake must be returned within 48 hours of collection
• More than half of the remaining cake must be returned
• The cake must be returned in its original packaging
• The cake must have been stored correctly under refrigeration

This allows us to properly assess the product.

Once assessed, a store credit or refund may be offered at our discretion.

We do not provide refunds or credits for cakes that have been stored incorrectly or consumed in full.

A refund or store credit may be considered where:

• The product is incorrect
• The product is faulty or not as described

Design Variations

While we strive to match designs as closely as possible, slight variations in colour, size, or decoration may occur due to the handmade nature of our cakes.

These variations are not considered faults and are part of the unique, artisan quality of our products.

Damage After Collection

Once the cake leaves our premises, it becomes the customer’s responsibility.

If the cake is damaged during transport or handling:

• We do not offer refunds or replacements
• You may contact us to check if a pastry chef is available to repair the cake
• Where possible, we may offer to remake the cake at your expense

Non-Collection & External Circumstances

• We do not offer refunds for orders that are not collected
• We do not offer refunds within 24 hours of the required date, including circumstances such as natural disasters or events beyond our control

Allergy & Storage Disclaimer

Dolcetto Patisserie does not offer allergy-free products.

Our kitchen handles ingredients including (but not limited to):

• Nuts
• Gluten
• Dairy
• Eggs
• Soy

While we take care, we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination and cannot accept liability for allergic reactions.

Customers with severe allergies are advised not to consume our products.

General Terms

By placing an order with Dolcetto Patisserie, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

We reserve the right to update or amend these terms at any time. Any changes will be made available on our website and in-store.
